Sprühling

Momentan hat irgendwie alles, was ich mache, mit hello handmade zu tun... Der Countdown läuft, nur noch 6 Tage, dann muss alles genäht, getackert, lackiert, beschildert und verpackt sein. Dieses Mal sieht es so aus, als müssten wir uns ein Taxi nehmen, das ganze Gerümpel bekommen wir unmöglich zu zweit in der Bahn mit...

Gestern habe ich das gute Wetter genutzt und ein zweites ausgemustertes Pippi-Langstrumpf-Tür-Buchstaben-Display umgesprüht. (Manchmal hat es auch Vorteile, in einem Kinderbuchverlag zu arbeiten...). Ich musste es dann doch noch 3 Mal mit der Rolle überstreichen, bis es annähernd weiß war.

At the moment, everything I do is related to the hello handmade market. Only 6 days to go, then everything has to be sewn, stapled, painted, labelled and packed. This time we will have to go by taxi. Thore and I will never manage to transport all this junk by subway...

Yesterday, I painted an old sales display which was originally used for little Pippi Longstocking cardboard letters that children can glue to the door of their room. (Sometimes it's useful working in a children's books publishing company...) It took 5 or 6 sessions until the display was truly white.

Dann habe ich schon einmal "trocken" den Stand aufgebaut, weil ich einige neue Sachen dabei habe und der Tisch etwas andere Ausmaße als normal hat. 

I made a test setup of my booth, as I had to check out some new elements and arrangements.

Neben der Produktion von weiteren Mini-Bildchen und Buttons (Thore hat wieder fleißig die Maschine bedient), warte ich noch gespannt auf meinen Stoff um quasi in letzter Minute noch ein paar neue Tierbörsen zu nähen. Seid gespannt!

So, jetzt muss ich noch ein paar Preisschildchen schreiben....

Besides the production of some more miniature portraits and many fabric badges (Thore helped a lot), I am waiting eagerly for the ordered fabric. I will have to do some last minute sewing to present to you some new animal purses. Stay tuned!

So, now I have to write some price tags...
